Yes, it is possible to start multiple OSPF processes on a single router. Each OSPF process will need to have a unique Router ID. The individual OSPF processes must be running over separate interfaces; the router will not allow you to add the same directly connected network to more than one particular OSPF process. Each of the OSPF processes will have its own separate link-state database and so the processes will not share the routing information to each other until redistribution is configured.
