Hello all- looking for a solution to the following problem.
we have a main data center and 300 remote sites connected via the ISPs MPLS cloud. I need to police certain type of traffic from data center (AV update downloads) to each field office down to say 200k. WAN circuit on the datacenter side lands on a 6506 SPA and has a LLQ policy attached to it in the outbound direction.
I was hoping to use microflow policing to police each flow so i don't have to create class map for each office and police it that way..but looks like microflow policing is not supported in the output direction. Got this error message when i tried it
"police flow command is not supported for this interface in the output direction.
Configuration failed on:POS3/0/0"
other option is to creat a class map for each office and police it in the policy map..(a long policy map)...
i'm looking for other ways to do this..any ideas???
