Hi All,
Below is shown an example output of the "show cef vrf <vrf-name> <network> detail" command.
I am curious for the meaning of some of the details in this output.
The command has been executed in an isolated testnetwork and the IP-addresses shown are in the private range.
The used <vrf-name> = 08-gsmr
The used <network> = 10.82.46.0/24
The questions I have in particular regarding the below output are:
show cef vrf 08-gsmr 10.82.46.0/24 detail

Hello @RGvanWierst ,
what version of IOS XR is running on your ASR 9000 ?
this could help to find the right command reference to look at
LDI could be Label Database Infrastructure LW-LDI might indicate the global label space node wide
>> type=0, refc=0, ptr=0x0, sh-ldi=0x0
type 0 should mean node wide label space
next hop 10.71.95.46/32 Hu0/0/0/0 labels imposed {22064 24047}
next hop 10.71.95.96/32 Hu0/0/0/1 labels imposed {22064 24047}
I would say 22064 is the IGP label and 24047 the VPN label
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,
thank you for taking the effort to reply to some of my questions.
Regarding your question, it is IOS-XR version 7.1.3.
With your answer of global label space I have found a few documents discussing this (platform wide and system wide). Studying these docs may lead to better understanding of segment routing.
The other answer "I would say 22064 is the IGP label and 24047 the VPN label" is very interesting and opens the way to a new perspective on the meaning of these labels which I will investigate thoroughly.
Now that the first two bullets in the list have been solved, more or less (I will use your leads to dive deeper into SR), there are still two bullets remaining:
I am very curious about the meaning of these numbers and hope someone can enlighten me.
Thanks again, Giuseppe.
Best Regards,
Bob.
