Hello-

I followed the password recovery procedures in the link below, however once I switched register back to 0x2102 it seems I lost my configurations.

Password Recovery

I'm wondering if when I did write mem (step 16) that deleted my configs. Does anyone have a password recovery procedure that doesn't delete the running configurations?

i followed on test box now, after change the conreg back to 

0x2102

and reload and configure as per the requirement and write the  config that is recommended here.

I have to be honest, I'm not quite sure what you're saying. 

Anyway, I think I figure out the issue. The router I was doing the password recovery on rebooted in the middle of the process. I think that may of caused the configs to be deleted. I think.

Nonetheless, I have to hand jam the configurations back into the router. Thanks.
