Password Reset of ASR 1006

Hi team,

Can anyone tell me the steps to RESET PASSWORD of cisco ASR 1006????

I've tried following things:-

control + Break/ special command break from putty to put router in rommon mode and change register value to 0x2142 but no luck with rommon mode as it is not going to rommon mode

Do you have redundant router engine ?

If yes, pull out one engine out and retry please.

I have only RP1 in my chassis, but still not able to go into rommon mode

Do you know if the command 'no password-recovery' is configured ?

I can not tell from the OP whether they are power down the ASR, power up, as it is initializing use control + Break. Or if they are doing some else.

I am not clear what password they try to reset. Is it the console password, a password for vty, a user password? Can you clarify this?

Obviously the console password, the vty one i can do with console.
once i will get console i can do anything
