PIM Bidir in 6509

Hi,

I'm trying to configure PIM Bidir on a Cat6509 running the s2t54-adventerprisek9-mz.SPA.151-2.SY8.bin image, but I don't see the bidir option when configuring the rp address. Looking at the Cisco Feature Navigator, this image supports Bidirectional PIM. Why the option is not available?

6509(config)#ip pim rp-address 1.1.1.1 ?

 Try the command  ' ip pim bidir-enable ' and give feedback

  15.2(1) SY6 is latest IOS for  Catalyst 6509 switch

I was thinking the same but wanted it to double-check with someone that have configured it before.

I'm now preparing the configurations for the change because this is a production system and I need to validate the commands prior to the maintenance window.
