Hi
I would like to have your suggestion for purchasing a router.
We have 7 branches, required to connect the router, All links are ethernet twisted pair.
In addition of above interfaces, we need two Gigaethernet interfaces too.
Which may required adquate processing power and memmory also
Kindly suggest a suitable router.

Hi Abdul,
I would suggest a 2951 is the better one for your scenario.
It will have 3 GigabitEthernet interfaces and 1 vpn module
It also have 255K NVRAM and 254464K CompactFlash.
I have this in my DC which connected over 30 locations and 20 site to site vpn's and 15 client vpn's.
Please rate if this helps you :-)
Regards,
Naidu.

Hi Abdul,
Selecting a router can take you through a number of different selection criteria (ie. cost, performance, module capacity ect...)
One of the most important, IMHO, is router performance. If your performance requirements (ie. throughput) is 1Mbps then why go with a 2921, 2951 ect..
Here is a link to a Cisco router performance guide...
