Can I configure router (7200 with two fastethernet interface) to connect to two switches and configure those two ports as port-channel? Basically question is how to setup port-channel that would contain phisical ports from different switches? Is it possible at all :-)) my boss wants this kind of config. Also question is if I have server with two interfaces, how to connect it to two switches, for redundacy, load balancing and failover?
Thanks!

Ether-channel is bundling multiple links together between 2 devices so u cannot form a portchannel between router to 2 switches. The second scenario(server teamed to 2 switches) is very much possible and is usually implemented in almost every enterprise.

Hi Draqec,
As aready updated in last post you will not be able to create port channel between single router and 2 different switches.
Talking about the port channel between the switches and the servers you can do that but make sure you select the option for port channel mode on. As many a times I have seen it does not form a proper port channel if you do not set manually mode as on.
Also you can go for option like mode LACP which is used for port channel between the servers and the switches or between cisco and non cisco switches.
