port forwarding on Cisco 891 router

I trying to do port forwarding on a Cisco 891 router.

I created a Nat rule through CCP and its Static. The direction is inside to outside. Inside interface VLan 1

Ip address is 192.168.2.100 Translate to Interface Outside Interface Fastethernet8 Type ip address the Ip is 65.82.48.249

Redirect port is checked. Orginal port 80 and Translated port 80.

This is for outside traffic to access a web server. For some reason the it doesn't work...

Anyone have any ideas why it doesn't work.....

for the configuration file you need, can I use the CCP and save the configuration to PC?

this configuration file you need, there is no sensitive informaiton about the router that will show like login password etc....

  Sorry guy,I'm not familiar with CCP. I think you can back up configuration to your computer and modify sensitive information before posting here.

I'm new to using a Cisco router so I'm not sure what sensitive information needs modifying.

Any suggestion what I need to delete or what section you need from my configuration file you need.

Hi,

   You just modify your public ip address and your password. lets say public ip is 1.1.1.1 you can change it to a.b.c.d.

     Tell me are you able to ping 65.82.48.249 natted IP from Internet. And let me know is this router interface IP address or a some other ip address in the pool.

If it is possible for you then plz post the sh run.

I tried pinging 65.82.48.249 from my laptop and requested timed out.

packets sent=4 Received =0 Lost =4 Was not able to ping that address.

The router interface in Interfaces and Connections is a Statstic IP

       Please post the sh run of the router you configured, so that i can help u further..  Please change the public IP in the configuration name it x.x.x.x....and post it .

   Configuration looks good. Please post show ip nat translation while connecting web server from the internet.

Router#show ip nat translation

   You can connect webserver when you are in local lan. Right?

are you sure of your WAN IP? ISP would normally issue a /30.
