I have to do port mirroring in extended switch .
Case :- I have 4 SWITCHES with 2 VLANS connected to each other . Vlans area vlan 10 and VLAN 20 .
VLAN 10 -- voip phones are connected in each switches
VLAN 20 --- other Devices
Switch 1 Vlan 10 (gig/26-43) and VLAN 20 (Gig/1-24)
Switch 2 Vlan 10 (gig/26-43) and VLAN 20 (Gig/1-24)
Extended Switch 1 Vlan 10 (gig/1-23)
Extended Switch 2 Vlan 10 (gig/1-23)
In PORT 44 of switch 1 recorder is connected , We have to record all the voip phones connected to all the 4 switches .
Case1 :- Voip CONNECTED TO SWITCH1 is getting recorded but voip connected to other switches (Switch 2, extended Switch 1 and 2 ) are not getting recorded .
So i have to start recording of all the phones . So Below is the configuration done :-
Switch 1---(For Port Mirroring )
monitor session 1 source interface Gi0/26 - 43
monitor session 1 destination interface Gi0/44
Switch 2 ---(For Port Mirroring )
monitor session 1 source remote vlan 10
So what configuration changes i can made so that i can record all the voip Phones .
Spanning tree is enable in all the switches / entire networks .
