Hi All,
I need some help please, we have a client with a telco PRI, the telco had a failure last week but has since resolved but ever since then when we make an outbound call, the call lasts for about 2-3 seconds and then shuts itself down(inbound is fine), not sure what else to check as this configuration has been running for more than 6 years, PRI is registered to CUCM via MGCP, I have attached debug isdn q931 error on a failed call. Telco has tested with a trend device and are able to make calls successfully from the PRI. I can attach the configuration if required.
Thanks
J

Hello,
try and toggle the CRC4 settings on the controller interface (Framing NO-CRC4/Framing-CRC4)...
RAI means Remote Alarm Indication by the way, usually indicating a problem at the remote end.
Which isdn switch-type do you have configured for your PRI ?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, we have tried that but no joy, what i did notice now is that the PRI still flaps with that message even though no outbound calls are being routed through it, I am pretty sure this is telco related but they have cleared their side and the fact that they can dial out when they connect to the PRI is even more frustrating. PRI Configuration is below and log error.
interface Serial0/0/1:15
no ip address
encapsulation hdlc
isdn switch-type primary-net5
isdn overlap-receiving
isdn incoming-voice voice
isdn bind-l3 ccm-manager
isdn send-alerting
isdn sending-complete
no cdp enable
