Problem downgrade ios 2811 124-15.T13 to 124-15.T7

Hello,

I'm trying to downgrade an 2811 of 124-15.T13  to 124-15.T7.

I can without problem (with TFTP) copy a IOS T7 over the flash and I can see it with sho flash:

copy tftp flash:

boot system flash c2800nm-ipbase-mz.124-15.T7.bin

copy running startup

reload

Unfortunately, during the reloading we can see "problem checksum" and the 2811 reboot over the ios T13

Can you say to me if I make an error in my procedure or exist it a true problem?

TKS a lot

I tested again this morning 2 procedures.
Here recovered logs.

Can you post a dir flash:

Can you also post the complete boot log when the router is reloaded?

Your T7 image could be corrupt.

We do not have enough information here to say for sure what the problem is. The procedure of:

- copy tftp: flash:

- show flash

- change the boot system commands

- copy running startup

- reload

sounds like the correct procedure. If it is not working it would sound like there is a problem with the IOS that you copied to flash. Perhaps you could post the output of show flash and this might provide some insight into the problem.

Issue the "verify /md5 flash:filename" command at the CLI to see if the MD5 matches the one on the download center.  Sounds like simple file corrution.

A copy of the exact error message text and a directory of the flash could be enlightening.
