i'm in the midst of wanting to move a school system off a 3750 switch in which i'm using qinq to connect 7 buildings. I obviously preserve the vlans between the building. I want to move these connections to an asr9010 which obviously uses ios-xr vs ios on the 3750. My question is if there is a better way then qinq on the new asr and achieve the same results. The other thing we do is we also provide them an Internet pipe which we strip off the second vlan. I hope this makes sense, but i'm not finding much on qinq so far on ios-xr. i'm wondering if vpls is a better solution.
