QoS on a 1601

I have a 1601 router and was wondering if it supports QoS. If so, what level of IOS do I need to have.

Hello Mark,

12.2(15)T14 (c1600-sy-l.12.2-15.T14) supports most QoS features, including CAR, WRED, Frame Relay Traffic Shaping, and CBWFQ. Are you looking for a specific feature ?

Yes, I am installing VoIP phones in our office. Unfortunately, I only have 11.3 running on it right now. I do not know how to get new firmware.

First, you must check system and flash memory required for this IOS with you router. You can check this using this command "sh ver". And you can get it through Cisco site "Technical support and documentation-->Downloads-->Cisco IOS software". You need your CCO account.
