Hello,
When trying to configure "QoS,Percentage-Based Policing",
on a 7600-SIP-400 with SPA-2X1GE, I get the following error:
WAN#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
WAN(config)#interface GigabitEthernet2/0/0
WAN(config-if)#service-policy output WAN-OUTPUT-CWT
priority percent command is not supported for this interface
Configuration failed!
!
policy-map WAN-OUTPUT
class class-default
shape average 147000000
service-policy WAN-OUT-SEC
!
policy-map WAN-OUT-SEC
class A
priority percent 20
class B
bandwidth percent 10
class C
bandwidth percent 20
class D
bandwidth percent 50
!
I believe that the feature (i.e "priority percent") applies only
to SPA WAN ports (ATM etc).
Is this correct ?
Are you aware of any docs that state the above ?
Thank you in advance
Best Regards,Pan

Pan, look into the following Cisco documentation: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/shared_port_adapters/configuration/7600series/SRD1/76ovwatm.html#wp1262692
.
The Cisco ATM SPAs support only strict priority policy maps (that is, the priority command without any parameters).
I am not aware of new ATM SPAs that would overcome this limitation. If someone knows, please post the details. Claude.

Hi!
There seems to be a difference in the policy-map that you are trying to apply and the one whose configuration you have provided.
you are trying to apply :WAN-OUTPUT-CWT
and wou have provided the config for : WAN-OUTPUT
Also which image are you exactly using? Is it 12.2(33)SRB?
In any other releases like SXF/SXH etc, the priority percent/kbps commands are not supported.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply and apologies for the typo:
Correct config follows:
WAN(config-if)#service-policy output WAN-OUTPUT
priority percent command is not supported for this interface
Configuration failed!
------------------------
The IOS is use is 12.2(33)SRA6
s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SRA6.bin
.
The feature navigator does not list any differences for QOS related features between SRA6 and SRB
.
