Hi Guys,
I have the following QoS settings applied within our routers and was wondering if we could tweak it further. Our settings are to prioritise Citrix and Printing traffic. What i would like to know is if it is possible to add further priorities within just the Citrix settings. As you can see, Citrix will encompass alot of traffic including our Email traffic and we would like to know if it is at all possible to achieve this. Below is the current config and any assistance is greatly apprecaited:
class-map match-any Citrix
match access-group name Citrix-ACL
policy-map WAN
class Citrix
priority percent 80
set dscp af41
class class-default
bandwidth remaining percent 100
fair-queue
policy-map Global
class class-default
shape average 2048000
service-policy WAN
Service-policy output Global (applied to WAN interface)

Just want to ask, your combined Citrix traffic won't exceed the allocated bandwidth? Reason I ask, LLQ, if the interface is congested, will drop over-rate traffic.
Also, normally you only use LLQ for real-time traffic like VoIP.
Later NBAR can examine later Citrix for traffic subtype. Allows you to tell the difference between Citrix on the screen vs. Citrix printing. This then allows you to treat such Citrix traffic differently for QoS.

Hello
Exactly what are you intentions- at present the citrx policy is taking 3/4 of the link (1638400) with everything else using 1/4 (409600)
Can you post your Citrix-ACL
