Hi Friends...

I am struggling with this type of ethernet interface on 3640 as I need it to support 100 Mb whereas I read somewhere on net that this type of hardware "AMD Presidio2" won't support 100 Mb. Max this type on interface would support is 10 Mb full duplex. Could someone please let me know the way out of this??? Attached below is the show version and brief description of sh controllers.

sh version :

Hi Mithil

I believe the problem is down to the fact that you only have Ethernet interfaces (10BaseT) in your router not FastEthernet interfaces (10/100).

The best way to resolve this is to install a network module with FastEthernet interfaces into the router.

These modules include

NM-1FE2W

NM-2FE2W

NM-1FE-TX

Hope this helps. If it does, would you mind rating this post?
