Mahi,
The best answer appears to be D, since this is an inherent part of the DUAL algorithm...
Hope that helps - pls do remember to rate posts that help.

Hi,
A and D both are wrong answers....
Now B and C are remaining options.
Just give your views friends,..

HI Mahi,
Thanks for rating that last post.
Now, let's take each option in turn:
A - is not incorrect. EIGRP does need to keep track of pending updates. If an update is sent but no ack received, this needs to be tracked
B - is a possible answer. Being a reliable packet, EIGRP keeps track of whether or not it receives acks in response to sent queries.
C - is definitely wrong. Hello packets are not acknowledged
D - is debatable. It talks about 'its own reply packets', implying packets sent by the router itself. DUAL is more interested in received replies then sent replies (I have to contradict my previous post here).
So the answer is either A or B, with B the more likely option since it is an integral part of EIGRP.
Mahi, please do remember to rate posts, my friend...

B. all unacknowledged queries
Queries and replies are sent when destinations go into Active state. Both queries and replies are transmitted reliably.
