"max-reserved-bandwidth" alternative command

The 7606-S router running IOS Release 12.2SR do not accept "max-reserved-bandwidth" command in SIP-8XCHT1/E1 interfaces. The Legacy QoS CLI Commands Deprecation document (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/ios/qos/configuration/guide/legacy_qos_cli_deprecation.html) indicates the following command sequence could be the replacement to it for some IOS versions:

Router(config)# policy-map policy-map-name
Router(config-pmap)# class class-default
Router(config-pmap-c)# bandwidth {bandwidth-in-kbps |
remaining percent percentage | percent percentage}

I would like to confirm if I can apply this replacement to IOS Release 12.2SR (SRB, SRD). If the answer is yes, does the command sequence have the same effect as "max-reserved-bandwidth" ?
