Hope someone can assist. Am having an issue with our 3650 connection. Have already replaced the SFP and still having connection issues. Am getting reliability of either 241/255 or 245/255. Am thinking it is possibly the fiber. Below is the result of sh interface 1/1/4
Gi1/1/4 connected trunk full 1000 1000BaseSX SFP
3650-48#sh int gi1/1/4
GigabitEthernet1/1/4 is up, line protocol is up (connected)
Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is XXXX)
Description: ** Verizon EVPL **
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit/sec, DLY 10 usec,
reliability 245/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
Keepalive not set
Full-duplex, 1000Mb/s, link type is force-up, media type is 1000BaseSX SFP
input flow-control is off, output flow-control is unsupported

0 unknown protocol drops
0 babbles, 0 late collision, 0 deferred
0 lost carrier, 0 no carrier, 0 pause output
0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out
Also, under the setting for the GigabitEthernet1/1/4, if I remove speed nonegotiate, I will lose my connection. Below is the setting. None of the other 3650's have this setting :
interface GigabitEthernet1/1/4
description ** Verizon **
switchport trunk allowed vlan 74
switchport mode trunk
speed nonegotiate
Thanks for the assist.

Look at the input errors. I bet these are FCS which means Verizon's end is faulty.
Move to a different port and use different SFP modules and fibre optic patch cables. If the input errors increment, then report it to Verizon. Good luck.

Already switched to a different SFP module and am awaiting delivery of new fiber cable. Will move to different port on Monday and will provide update then. Thanks for the assist to everyone.
