Normally we use Telnet and SSH for romote access. Beside these two applications is there any other application?

Hi Friend,

You can also have a remote access via SNMP using some NMS server like Cisco Works, HP Openview, Smarts server etc etc.

The purpose is to use with Cisco Router and Pix firewall, do HP Openview and Samrts Server can be used with them?

Hi Vin,

Yes HPOpenview and Smarts server can view the router pretty sure but not sure of PIX but if PIX have the some MIB values which can be imported to HPOpenview and Smarts server , it should be possible.
