Reset Cisco 2900 series

Hello,

I wish to reset my 2911 router. Tried both method of sending Ctrl+Brk sequence as well as removing flash from the router. For both occasions, I am getting  the below message and there is no prompt comes up.

Readonly ROMMON initialized
PASSWORD RECOVERY FUNCTIONALITY IS DISABLED

Any guidance will be much appreciated on this

Hello,

as far as I recall, disabling password recovery also disables the functionality of the BREAK sequence, however, during the boot process, the Ctrl+Break key actually does work, albeit for just a few seconds. Boot the router, and just keep pressing Ctrl+Break until the boot process is finished, at some point you will get an option to recover the router.

Hi Georg,

I tried hitting Ctrl+Brk frequently from as soon as the Power On till one
minute after the Boot completes. Still no luck to get the prompt.

Any thoughts ?
