Triggered updates occur when a route change occurs and an update, including only the changed route, is sent out. Regular updates are unaffected by this and are still sent per the update timer interval
Triggered updates are also called flash updates.
incremental update - contains only the change or difference from the previous update. the full update contains the entire set of routing information, including networks or elements of the network that have not changed at all. - this mostly seen in OSPF (not related to RIPv2 - just provided, so you not going to mix each other)
