Hello I am tasked with upgrading our remote switch population and I need some advice as to how I can determine if a ROM version is compatible with an IOS version.
Does anyone have a link/chart for Cisco Switches that helps determine where each IOS version needs a ROM upgrade to function?
Thanks in Advance

Usually all software versions are compatible with all ROMMON versions.
You would need to check the specific ROMMON and switch software release notes.
I have never seen such a table. Mostly because everything usually works with everything.

Ok Thanks Phil,
If the switches were local, I would be at ease, but the fact that I am 12 to 18 hours away from some the switches causes some concern.
But I am currently in a situation where a 4507 needed a ROM upgrade to be compatible with a newer IOS. I will consult the release guides, but some seem to have it, some dont.

If you want to be sure, upgrade all the ROMMON's first, so you are in a known state to start the switch software upgrades from.
