Route Map question with BGP

Hi

I am confused here what does the set commuity command do please, we call the same acl in the route map so am a bit confused.?

route-map RM_NCRS_TO_VM1 permit 10

match ip address ACL_NCRS_TO_VM_01

set community 28

!

route-map RM_NCRS_TO_VM2 permit 10

match ip address ACL_NCRS_TO_VM_01

set community 29

when we need use AS-Path for specific prefix how can we do that? share the route-map you will use, if we need as-path prepend in each path?

I think it’s time for my eye test !
Apologies your absolutely correct different stanzas same acl - then if you have two ebgp peers each rm can be used to advertise a different community value using the SAME acl

Ohh, it happened alot for me.

I use sometimes mobile and small words or some number I dont recognize, when retrun to home use laptop I found I am totally wrong.
