Dear Expert,

I would like to ask you regarding creating a route object in RIPE NCC.

If i am a transit ISP, i am receiving a prefix from my end user ans advertise it to internet and the customer will be the originator for this prefix.

In this case, do i need to be the maintainer for this prefix ore only update my RIPE database to accept any from custmer AS ?

this one is the right one as you don't own the prefix for the description you have given

Thanks for your fast reply, yes i was thinking that just to confirm it.

Yes i am only a transit ISP for this customer.

So i have one question:

what does maintainer do ? is he obly the owner for the prefix ? or can be the orginitor AS ? or something else ?
