route vlan traffic with cisco router and cyberoam

we create one vlan (vl10) for server in our network , gatway for vlan 10 is 192.168.15.20. before this the server is on vlan 1. we route vlan 1 traffic through cyberoam in out of the network. and also route that 192.168.15.20 trough router.

when we create that vlan10 for server and we remove gatway 192.168.15.20 from vlan 1 and put it to interface vlan 10, then what happen? it is work properly or we have change something to cyberoam or router. like add default route to router or cyberoam port through vlan 10 ie.

THANKS

Hi Manish,

Without knowing how your network routing is set up it is hard to confirm on your q. Incase if it simple 'directly connected' (with default route set) kind of setup.. I'm not anticipating any issues.

Hello,

in addition to the other post, I think it shouldn't matter where (on which VLAN interface) you put the IP address, as Cyberoam doesn't know about your internal VLANs. It only cares about IP addresses, and that hasn't changed and remains 192.168.15.20.
