Upgraded WS-C2960-8TC-L but may have done it incorrectly?

Hi,

I thought I messed up my switch (maybe I did) but since it works I am guessing it is fine. However, I see strange file size when I command "show flash". The image file looks too small in size (only 512K?), no? That is the size of the file, isn't it? And there is private.config.text renamed (I did not rename it).

Directory of flash:/

    2  -rwx        1915   Mar 1 1993 00:01:07 +00:00  private-config.text.renamed

    3  -rwx        1913   Mar 1 1993 00:01:07 +00:00  private-config.text

    4  -rwx        1993   Mar 1 1993 00:08:41 +00:00  express_setup.debug

  594  -rwx        1192   Mar 1 1993 00:01:07 +00:00  config.text

    5  drwx         512   Mar 1 1993 01:36:14 +00:00  c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11

  591  -rwx        1191   Mar 1 1993 00:01:07 +00:00  config.text.renamed

  592  -rwx        3096   Mar 1 1993 00:01:07 +00:00  multiple-fs

27998208 bytes total (11536384 bytes free)

Also when I do "show ver" this is what I get:

Switch uptime is 12 hours, 42 minutes

System returned to ROM by power-on

System image file is "flash:/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin"

Switch Ports Model              SW Version            SW Image

------ ----- -----              ----------            ----------

*    1 9     WS-C2960-8TC-L     15.0(2)SE11           C2960-LANBASEK9-M

Is everything looking normal?

I have no problems with the unit. It works fine as it should as far as I can tell.

Thanks.

Look to the left.  Do you see the "d" to the "drwx"?  It means "directory".

The IOS file is located inside the directory.
