Router 1921 crypto issue

One of my client try to configure the crypto key,but the router is not taking the command.

What can be the issue...

Router has security and data base license installed.

Router detail is attached in snap.

Hi,

you need a security licence for IPSec VPNs, check it with show licence command.

Hi Wajid,

If you are having security license the show version should display as below. If not license needs to be purchased. The IOS in the device is a universal image which will not have any features by default.

router has securityk9 license install for evaluation version.

in detail it is showing:

License type: Evaluation

License State: Active, not is use, EULA Accepted

Hi Wajid,

The license typr should be permanent. Please check with cisco once. You are using a Evaluation license.

Hi,

Issue is resolved now.the problem with license is that it was not properly install.activation procedure for evaluation is diffarent then the normal license.

after installing,to activate we need to type below command and need to reload the license.after that only the license will take effect.

license boot module C1921 technology-package securityk9
