Hello,
we have a Cisco Router 2921 Version 15.2(4)M4 (with no support), that randomly crashes.
I checked some logs but can't make up anything from them.
Here are some excerpts:
current memory block, bp = 0x3D1537BC,
memorypool type is Processor
data check, ptr = 0x3D1537EC
bp->next(0x0) not in any mempool

I have highlighted (bold) what I guess it might be relavant, but after searching the forums, still can't find anything that'll help me.
Any idea where the problem might be?

Hello,
tough one indeed, as Joseph indicated. Since you don't have a service contract, you cannot download another IOS version.
You could try and open the chassis and reset the memory. Also, what is the output of:
show buffers
show memory summary
show processes memory
Have a look at the document below, they explain several troubleshooting strategies:

I'm considering hiring Cisco support for this issue (though I'm not sure if/how this can be done) or buying a new device...
Btw, I forgot to mentioned in my first post that this router is being used as Gateway and DHCP server. And in the lapse of 1 month we needed to reboot the router (I had no remote access to it) 2 times because the DHCP server stopped giving IP addresses (again, I didn't have access to the server to check why...).
