Hi,

I beleive RMON is the option available for your requirement.

Check these links if it helps -

http://www.cathayschool.com/using-rmon-to-send-traps-a579.html (Ex 4)

Regards,

Rahul

Thank you for this valuable information,

however I want the router to send a real time bandwidth utilization (average for example).

If we need real time stats.

My suggestion would be to use Netflow or SNMP.

With the help of netflow we could export the stats to a collector and on collector you could then build the traffic graphs.

From the Cisco device itself?

If so, you might be able to do this with device scripting.

Can you show me examples?

No, but you might ask for that on the EEM scripting forum.
