What's your DRAM size?  You have192 mb of DRAM?

Same thing, reboot the router.  I want to see the bootup process.

I cannot reboot the router now, find the requested info below

Cisco 1841 (revision 6.0) with 234496K/27648K bytes of memory.

2 FastEthernet interfaces

1 Serial interface

1 Virtual Private Network (VPN) Module

WIC T1-DSU

DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity disabled.

191K bytes of NVRAM.

62720K bytes of ATA CompactFlash (Read/Write)

Configuration register is 0x2102

Its look like problem in flash bin files order.

The original poster has said that there is a boot system command pointing at c1841-advsecurityk9-mz.124-24.T7.bin and not at the older image. If that is the case then the order of files in flash does not matter.

I agree with the suggestion that to understand this issue we need to see the output to the console during the boot process. With the correct setting of the config register and the correct boot system commands the router shoujld be booting the new image. If it is not then there should be some message to the console during boot that would explain why.
