Router need auto reboot

Hi

I have a router. For some of need i need reload the router 2/3 times in 24 hours a clock. so have any command there that router can auto reload after interval time ?. I get a command but this command in normal mode and can not save .so when reload the command erase.

so i need assistance from router expert.

Hi Biplob,

As far as i know you can only use the reload command for this purpose (but as you said it is not saved in the configuration), so the second option is to schedule a script to reload the router at your need.

router#reload ?

LINE Reason for reload

at Reload at a specific time/date

cancel Cancel pending reload

in Reload after a time interval

Hi,

you might want to have a look at the Config-register option. i do not quite remember the register value but you could set a config-reg value which will reload the router every few hours.
