Router reboot, bus error

Hi,

We had recently installed a new cisco router 3945e on a client, and after a few days of normal use the router reloaded unexpectedly. This router, replaced an old cisco router 2800 that had the same configuration for a few years and worked fine.

There was now crash info (actually, the crash info appears to be on memory but has no information on it), the only thing that we can see, is that at the moment of the reload, the CPU went to 100% and the reload reason is: bus error at PC 0x18D7307, address 0x18D7307.

Attached, you can see a show tech for the device.

I searched for this error on the support forum without success, and also searched for bugs for the IOS version, also without success.

Can anyone tell us something about this issue?? For the time being the router did not reloaded again.

Regards, Pedro Agustin Krenz

Update IOS. If still happens, contact the TAC.

Post the complete output to the following commands:

1.  sh version; and

2.  dir

EDIT:  WHAO!  2 Years ago???  Pffft!
