Router RIPv2 issues in packet tracer

Hi guys,

I'm really scratching my head with this one, i'll preface to say im new to packet tracer

Currently preparing for my exams and cant seem to get 4 routers to communicate in a network via ripv2, ive previously managed 3 but can't solve getting 4 connected.

I've been set a task and the ip between the routes must start with 131.64.7 which im not sure if thats what is causing the issues

I know the rest of the network needs work but i'll sort that out afterwards. Eventually I want all the pc's on the networks to use the dhcp server, but i've set them to static IP's for the time being to troubleshoot.

I've attached the packet tracer file and labelled as much as I can to make it easier to follow, any help would be appreciated

Thanks, Tom

Hi @TomWit123 ,

The IP addressing is inverted between se0/0/0 and se0/0/1 on all 4 routers. Please correct this and it should be fine.

I see what Harold means by inverted, in this instance; double check (like in the same /30) your end point /30 IPs.

Hi Harold,

Really sorry if im being stupid here, what do you mean by inverted?

I've been messing around with the IP's and can't change the outcome

Kind regards,

Tom

Hi @TomWit123 ,

IP address of se0/0/0 should be assigned to se0/0/1 and vice versa.

BTW, again, pay attention to which interface IPs you swap.  I.e. all but UK's.
