Router sizing requirements

Good Morning,

I am currently in a position where I need to setup a BGP multihomed site with a AS and IP Block from ARIN.  I'm trying to figure out what the current requirements are for this (bearing in mind having to hold the global routing table).  We have a Cisco 7513 which yes I know is old, however if upgraded to the latest route switch processor with 1gig of memory would this be sufficient?  If there is alternate gear that could handle this, I would also appriciate input on that.  We've mostly bought used gear off of ebay, so I'm just trying to figure out what others might reccomend that could be purchased used as well.  Thanks!

Is the 7513 still supported? That bad boy has been around the block...

Are you leaning more towards a pure router or more like a Layer 3 switch ?

7600 with a sup 720, possibly a 7200 with an npe G2

On a previous thread, someone has claimed to hold a global routing table with a 2960.
