Routes Filtering methods

Hello Everyone,

I am just Confused about Filtering methods like - Route Maps, Distribute List, Prefix-List

where to use above these methods?

Aas i came to know that all these methods are for filtering purpose with the help of ACL but where to use these filtering methods in network scenario.

Please give some example for these above commands.

Hi Ambarish,

You are asking to explain different pretty vast topics. Route-maps,distribute-list and prefix-lists can be used with any routing protocol. Each will have different types of implementation also.

Please consider breaking this into different topics and try to practice it.
