Routing over direct connect

We have to move some services that are in the Router 5, and they are not can
change the IP addresses.

The computers that are in the lan of the router 1 and 2, see the networks
172.16.18.0/24 and 172.1.1.0/24 through the network segments nat 10.253.18.0/24
and 10.253.1.0/24 respectively.

When we place the segments of networks 172.16.18.0/24 and 172.1.1.0/24 in the Router 7,
I can create routes /32 to the addresses 172.176.18.118, 172.16.18.119, 172.16.18.115,
172.1.1.85; in the router 1 and router 2, ¿does it worked?, despite the fact that the segments
172.16.0.0/16 and 172.1.0.0/16 are directly connected?.

If that does not apply at the earliest said, how  i can maintain the segments
of networks 172.16.18.0/24 and 172.1.1.0/24 in the router 7? .

Annex the diagram of network

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm following your idea 100%.

Are you running any dynamic routing protocol in your network?

If yes, why don't you simply advertise 172.16.18.0/24 from your router 7?

Router1 and 2 will use that route, of course (longest match wins).

Or is 172.16.18.0/24 also advertised from router 5 together with the NATed subnets?

In that case, you'd need either to stop that or advertise more specific (host, e.g.) routes from router 7.

Milan
