Routing platform with 10Gbs interfaces

I am looking for a Cisco router, or maybe Nexus platform, with 10Gbs interfaces as an option. I require 4 per unit.

I didn't see a whole lot in the product listing, save for the high-end CRS stuff. I need something that is ideally under 4U in size and supports MPLS, etc.

Any recommendations?

Have you looked into ASR 1000 models could be an option , some of them have 10gb ints

In addition to the ASR you could take a look at the 4500-X :

...you'll get better port density than an ASR and it will be significantly cheaper, although the 4500-X does perform some operations in software (GRE encapsulation springs to mind).

We opted for three WS-C4500X-32SFP+ to connect our 10GB ISP links at my last employer.

cheers,

Seb.

Just to add a bit to Mark's and Seb's posts.

An ASR1004 is, I believe, the smallest ASR1k that would support 4 10g interfaces.  It also appears it will support the recent 6x10g card.  Feature wise, it's likely a more capable device vs. a L3 switch.

In the Catalyst line, besides the 4500-X, there also the recent 6840-X.
