Hi All,
I am intending to do this in virtual environment and thinking if it is a limitation.
Public pool of address 101.10.10.2 > 101.10.10.6 assign to my network
101.10.10.1 on the peer ISP side
I created loopback interface on ISP side for the purpose of testing. 3.3.3.3
I intend to use 101.10.10.2 static nat translation for my web server
I intend to setup 101.10.10.3 to 101.10.10.6 as pool of address to handle the PAT
All internal subnet will be utilizing the pool of address .3 to .6
I know how to do the NAT part using that pool
My issue is where to assign the ip 101.10.10.2, 101.10.10.3-6, these ip cannot be assign on multiple interface using the mask 255.255.255.248 as they are on the same network and router wont accept assigning those ip's on multiple interface/SVI/sub-interface
I tried the ip address x.x.x.x mask and then followed by ip address x.x.x.x mask secondary but the router wont accept the command with secondary at the end.
I hope everything is clear on this post and that someone could walk me through the right setup.
Note: I tried assigning just the 101.10.10.2 on an interface on my router and do PAT using the pool of address that I have, but it only shows me that it is utilizing 1 public IP when I do show ip nat translations. Will it not show me that second public ip in pool is used until it runs out of port on first public ip in the pool?
