I have a RV340W with a fairly simple config (2 VLAN about 60 devices connected to a SG220-26P and wirelessly).
I also got a Security-License that give me access to many security features. When Web filtering and all Theat\IPS features are active, the CPU reach 100% after a variable time lapse (few hours to few days) The router become unresponsive and I have to reboot. When I disable antivirus, the problem disappear.
Anyone having this problem... and maybe a solution.
Tx

Try upgrading latest version firmaware to see the problem fix. not have RV340 to test.
some of the tips were on one of thread was " fix it by disabling the "WAN Traffic Meter". ( not sure your case here)

Hello,
try and find out which of the three is actually maxing out your CPU. Web Filtering, Antivirus and IPS at the same time might be too much simultaneously. Enable one at a time and monitor the results.

Hi, looks like its the AV that cause the problem. I've set the max size of files to be scan at 5MB (since more than 90% of virus are less than this value in size) . It,s much better now.
I still have an issue with the security package maybe someone out there have a hint for me:
In Web filtering, when a user tries to reach a forbidden web site, he's redirected to https://192.168.1.1/blocked.php?t=0&c=11&url=http://forbidden url/
My router has a valid certificate for it's FQDN but not for '192.168.1.1' Chrome user will then see the famous warning page. Is there a way to make the router redirect page url looks like :https://ROUTER FQDN/blocked.php?t=0&c=11&url=http://forbidden url/ That way, the certificate would do its job preventing the warning page. (By the way, I didn't find any way to obtain a cert for a private IP)
