Same VLAN on different switches and routers

Hello,

I will send the packet tracer file if needed.

I have created 2 VLANs, one for the lecturers, one for the students (default named devices under the switches). The problem is that those devices for students have no problem and ping with each other, but the lecturers devices get stuck between the routers. Also, I've noticed that if I ping from a lecturers pc to router not directly connected to its switch(for example, lecturer-2 pc to router 1), it has no problem, but if I reverse the ping,(router 1 to lecturer-2 pc)it doesn't ping anymore. I'm pretty sure the IP's are configured correctly, but I think that the dynamic routing is the issue.

share the pkt file. general theory is if you planning to extend VLAN via L3 networks, you need to use technology like VXLAN. if not normal routing need to do.

Please rate this and mark as solution/answer, if this resolved your issue
Good luck

You can attach your PT pkt file here (must be in a zip format).
