SDM and cisco routers

I've got 2500 and 2600 series routers will SDM support these routers, if no, can upgardation of IOS help run SDM?

which exact IOS should i need to ask for?

No, SDM wont run on 2500 or 2600, unless the 2600 is the XM flavor. For a complete list of devices that will run SDM:
