security license and 2911 router

Dear support,

i'm trying to install the security licenses on a 2911 router and is giving the error shown in the attached file

Could you kindly show us the output of 'show license udi'

It seems as though the router is saying the serial number doesn't match the license or some incompatibility issue there. Is the serial number the same as what you put in the PAK registration?

Thank you for the output... just wanted to make sure that your serial number is correct which appears to be the case.

What was the product code of the license you purchased?

In any case I would begin raising a TAC case for this from now.

Okay I think I know what it is:

CME#license install flash:FCZ16337V6J_201305280516244400.lic

Installing licenses from "flash:FCZ16337V6J_201305280516244400.lic"

% Error: Install failed. UDI CISCO2911:FCZ16337V6J on license does not match any device

0/1 licenses were successfully installed

0/1 licenses were existing licenses

1/1 licenses were failed to install

UDI should be CISCO2911/K9:FCZ16337V6J and not CISCO2911:FCZ16337V6J

missing the /K9 bit. The PID was incorrectly filled.

Please contact licensing@cisco.com

And you can point them to this thread so they can help you out. Give them the relevant details.
