HI,
I am trying to understand some of the Show command outputs on my ATM routers. Does anyone knwow what the following counters mean? SH ATM PVC has the following counters: OAM cells received: 568647, F4 InAIS: 568647 and F5 OutRDI: 568647
As I am getting some packet loss on that particular PVC, I am wondering if I should be concerned with those numbers. Thanks. M.L.

Hi,
these are the counters of Operation Administration Maintenance, Alarm Indication Signal, segment and path continuity, Remote Defect Indicator.
None of these should be related to packet loss, that is InAIS and OutRDI should not increase.

Great, Thanks very much. I did not that the counters were not increasing when packets were lost. I opened a ticket with the Telco. ML.
