Trying to get my head around a switch I have at the moment.

Show inv says its a PID: WS-C3850-48U-S

But the product code sticker on the switch says: WS-C3850-48U-L

I know the different in regards to both switch's specifications but unsure to why it would be different!

Any advise would be grateful!

I believe the only difference would be the license the 3850 comes with.

- Lookup the system serial number with show version and enter that in https://cway.cisco.com/sncheck/ , (e.g.)
