Shape sustained burst (bc) cannot be configured this interface

Hi, Im trying to apply something like this in interface "GigabitEthernet over SIP-400:

class-map match-all SHAPING

match any

!

policy-map SHAPE-1000

class SHAPING

shape average 1000000000 10000000 0

but is no possible because the BC...

"Shape sustained burst (bc) cannot be configured this interface"

there is another way to apply the policy map? The router is a 7604.

Hi,

Configuring Bc value is not supported on the SIP-400. You need to let the router calculate it for you (do not enter any value).

Hi Laurent, humm dont work on the SIP-400, but I also have GLCs... 2 ports at GigaEthernet, if I apply do them dont work also :) is normal?

Changing Bc is not supported on sip-400 shaping. If you want to control

buffering you can configure queue-limit on the shaping class.
