Setup a frame relay configuration with CIsco's packet tracer. It exhibits two unexplained behaviors:
1. "Show CDP neighbors command does not show neighbors over the frame relay WAN.
2. I have setup a simulated frame-relay network using cicso paket tracer. HQ can ping all of it's F0/1subinterfaces and ping B1 - B3. B1 - B3 can ping HQ, but cannot ping their own interfaces (S1/0 on each router). Why?

You have not provided any detail how the Frame Relay routers are configured and this would help. But I can guess at the issue. When a Frame Relay router can not ping it's own interface it frequently is because it does not have a Frame Relay map entry for it's own interface. Can you check whether there is a map entry?

If you're serious about learning, use real routers, not toy simulators.

Hi,
1) cdp is disabled by default on frame-relay multipoint subinterfaces
2) as rick said above you need a static mapping on a frame-relay physical interface to be able to ping yourself .
