Hi there,
I have a strange problem concerning a Cisco 3925:
Cisco IOS Software, C3900 Software (C3900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version
15.1(4)M, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
(c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.151-4.M.bin)
This router has 3 native interfaces:
Gi0/0 (RJ45)
Gi0/1 (RJ45/SFP)
Gi0/2 (RJ45/SFP)
I have built in an additional EHWIC-1GE, which is named as Gi0/0/0.
When I do:
>rtr#sh snmp mib ifmib ifindex GigabitEthernet 0/1
>Interface = GigabitEthernet0/1, Ifindex = 3
=> everything is fine.
When I do the same for Gi0/2, it says:
>rtr#sh snmp mib ifmib ifindex GigabitEthernet 0/2
>Invalid ifIndex for GigabitEthernet0/2
=> There must be a bug in the MIB within this IOS, but I cannot find anything in the Cisco Bug Tool Kit.
This output might be interesting, too:
>rtr#sh snmp mib ifmib ifindex
>GigabitEthernet0/1: Ifindex = 3
>GigabitEthernet0/0/0: Ifindex = 5
>Backplane-GigabitEthernet0/3: Ifindex = 1
>Loopback0: Ifindex = 7
>Embedded-Service-Engine0/0: Ifindex = 4
>Null0: Ifindex = 6
>GigabitEthernet0/0: Ifindex = 2
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Do I have to configure something to avoid this behaviour?
Thanks in advance for any help ;-)

This is a bug which is fixed by CSCto03506. This fix will be in 15.1(4)M1 when it is released.
