We have a ASR 9K router which has below inteface. Interface is up but IP to its intrafce is not pingable. This is something weird behaviour as IP should ping intrface is up. Below are the details. Please give ur suggestion i believe its a intrafce issue or bug

You are trying to ping VRF interfaces from GRT (global routing table) which I believe may not have visibility/routing into the VRF's hence the timeouts. The source interface used by the router may also not have visibility into the VRF's.
Try extended pings with 'source' interface where it has visibility in to the VRFs.
